I certainly MADE IT 💯 survived it all!
Its been 4 months since I moved back to Vegas from New York. I was truly blessed with all the opportunities I had received in New York and nothing has changed but my address. I was extremely blessed that I could still do everything I was doing there from home. There is nothing like HOME.
Being from Vegas your SPOILED , im SPOILED! The cost of living is way cheaper , VEGAS is clean , no rats , no trains etc the list could go on and on. Vegas and New York is both money cities but they don’t compare …. they couldn’t compare. One thing I loved in New York was the culture. Seeing so many great events and festivities for my ppl was so awesome , I was overjoyed. Vegas is slowly getting culture but its no where near NY , they have parades and events for almost every thing. Them Jamaican , Haitian and Trinidad ppl know how to party. Its a very huge island base in Brooklyn where I was living.
I will say I loved the almost 2 year experience ❤ everybody should experience NY in some way or another. That void is filled , its out my system and I have no regrets.I would never make it my home but a long summer vacation wouldn’t be so bad. Through it all im so thankful I had my sister by my side during this adventure. I wouldn’t have done it without her in the big city all alone
I’ll always remember what my homeboy told me when I moved to NY. He said ” Always look up its beautiful here but when you look around shit aint sweet , dont believe the hype!”
