Its that time of year again , where i narrow down my Top 5 of 2015. Some fashionistas moved up or down from last year’s list. Majority are newcomers with a whole lot of style 💅💅💅

We come across so many stylish fashionistas on social media. They all have their unique style that separates them from the rest. Me personally , being Founder and CEO of Eccentric GLOW I feel like its part of my job to bless my GLOWERS with the most stylish , fashionable , chic and eccentric ensembles. Putting this list together was so hard I changed the order like 4 times. All of these ladies bring it and slay EFFORTLESSLY. I can count on these ladies everytime for a gorgeous ensemble from head to toe. Each one has their very own style and originality. Im sure you have seen these ladies on my social media outlets numerous times and you’ll see them numerous times again.

I see so many people often imitate others. Everything from altering their physical features to copying their every move. I often wonder what is the issue. Is it for attention or popularity? The answer is yes and only because there is a lack of self esteem and or self confidence. See, if an person doesn’t feel that they are pretty enough, good enough or have enough going for themselves, then they will adopt the identity of another person with the hopes of being recognized as one who looks, acts or sound like another that’s not them. All of which sounds so draining. I mean think about it, the price of being popular nowadays isn’t cheap. Plastic surgery is ranging in the $$$$. Hair and makeup that use be inexpensive are now rising like stocks, the price of clothes and accessories $$$.The physical upkeep is expensive not to mention the other luxuries like houses, cars and etc.

You’ll go broke trying to maintain a lifestyle that isn’t yours, it’s probably difficult maintaining the one you have now for yourself. Then you find yourself in debt all because of it. You might look good to you and people around you on the outside but the way you feel on the inside is nowhere near that. We love to compare ourselves to other people instead of being us. What’s wrong with being you? Is it the feeling of being rejected because of it. Rejection is apart of life and some of the most popular people has, is and will be rejected by people. Regardless of who you choose to be, there are people that are not going to like you but choose to not be liked because of who you are not someone you pretend to be. Do some searching within yourself to find out what is the issue.

If it’s anything physical, like weight, change your diet. Eliminate some foods and add healthier ones, watch your intake on how much you eat and exercise. You can accomplish it if you discipline yourself and work at it. If it’s any other physical feature, there are plenty of ways to do something about them without the cost of plastic surgery.

Besides, the way God created you was so satisfying to Him that He only made one like you!! And no one will ever be able to be you except for you and you will never be anybody else, no matter how hard you try. Sometimes how we view ourselves has given people permission to view us the same way, whether good or bad and you really can’t control how they view you but you can help them out. Deal with issues within so that the freedom from it radiates on the outside. Free yourself from your own negative opinions of yourself and what others may think. Make the decision to be the original that you were created to be. So go ahead and be free to love you, embrace you, strengthen you and be the best you that you can. Be you so much that it encourages others to be themselves. Be that match that sparks the fire in someone else’s life. After all what choice do you really have in being yourself, everyone else is taken!!!

Teyana Taylor Gives Birth — In Her Bathroom!

Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert welcomed baby girl Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr. yesterday morning and you won’t believe how she came in this world!

Teyana said she didn’t even know she was in labor until she felt her head while using the restroom!

On Dec 16th at 6:42am in our bathroom Junie decided she wanted to take her first breath into this world. She came out as a wonderful surprise to everyone! Not knowing I was in labor until I felt her head…it took two ten count pushes with my fiancé playing Dr and she entered this world into his bare hands! Eyes full of tears and barely able to speak to the emergency operator@imanshumpert tied a pair of red headphones around the umbilical cord and the ambulance made there grand entrance 5 min later. She opened her eyes right away, gazed into mine and never cried! He handed her to me wrapped in our bath towel and wiped her face for me to see what LOVE really is. She has blown Christmas away! Our family is complete. Her blueprint will be unmatched. Welcome Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr. Mommy carried you. How To Dress a Turtleneck

Oh how I remember hating turtlenecks so much the thought of wearing it under my sweater or just plain by itself made me cringe. I did not find it to be fashionable at all. I felt frumpy when wearing it and no one could tell me I looked cute. Plus I remember them being hand me downs from my cousin.

Turtlenecks are awesome when worn correctly  it’s so chic and sophisticated. Plus its definitely in “Trend” according to VogueMagazine. {Forget Taking The Plunge. This Season ,Collars Inch North To Frame The Face}.A turtleneck  should be a statement piece in your closet. It is versatile enough to wear throughout the chilly  season and is a great item for a chic winter look.  – you can also find it in various styles, so you can easily switch out the plain ‘ol black turtleneck. It looks amazing with pencil skirts and tutu skirts and flare skirts haha you get my drift. It gives you a blank palette to show off your jewelry and those fantastic earrings. ( Just don’t do both)

How To Buy A Turtleneck Sweater

1)A slim-fitted, black,lightweight and not too chunky turtleneck sweater is a must in any woman’s wardrobe! It will blend well with what’s in your wardrobe And it’s slimming on all body figures!

Once you have secured your perfect black, add others neutrals to your wardrobe such beige/white, greys, dark blues and browns. Neutrals are perfect because you can rewear them a million ways. I adore the gray on gray look tres chic!

And then solid colors like purple, red and mustard yellow – which are popular fall and winter colors. They’ll keep you covered for the colder months while adding a splash of color to your look.

Turtlenecks  can last a long time, just look for quality fabrics such as cashmere, merino wool blend or cotton-lycra-blend (slightly stretchy). They will be way more comfortable and will lessen the irritation on your  neck area. A sweater with some stretch will also give you a flattering fit.

We all are not perfect gosh why god why -lol- so for those of us with a slight muffin top  I gotchu  just opt for a more rigid fabric that camouflage your problem areas around the stomach, or you can wear a vest  over your turtleneck too.

How To Flatter A Round Or Wide Face

Turtlenecks totally shows off  a wide or round face because it shortens your neck and your face, bringing attention to the shape.
1)  Wide Or Round Face Wearing your hair in an up-/ponytail looks best with turtlenecks to help expose more skin or if you have short hair/bob that works too.

(more skin = thinner and leaner) which will obviously make you look better! You can also wear a pair of  a long necklace to visually slim down your face shape…It’s all about the Illusion!!

2) Short Neck Both dark colors and neutrals such as beige, gray, olive or just anything similar to your skin tone can help slim and elongate your neck area, while still wearing  your hair in an up-do to avoid creating a wide “brick” proportion between your head and shoulder also other types of turtlenecks such as cowl and mock neck are best as well  since they will aid in revealing more skin and make it look longer.
