Beyoncé shared her Formation World Tour stage with someone very near and dear to her heart last night

According B.Scott , Her longtime dance captain, Ashley Everett, got engaged to boyfriend John Silver during the show in St. Louis, Missouri..

After Queen Bey delivered a surprise performance of her hit “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” — which she hasn’t performed on her Formation World Tour since opening night in April — she handed her microphone over to John (who is also one of her backup dancers).

John addressed the crowd,

“She’s my queen, so I feel like it’s only right to come out here in my hometown and show you guys the epitome of a young woman that knows how to deal with all the nonsense and the B.S. of a St. Louis n—a.”

He then got on one knee and proposed to Ashley in front of everyone.
