My Wife and Kids’ Star Parker McKenna Allegedly Beat Up By Boyfriend

Parker McKenna, who played Damon Wayans’ daughter on ‘My Wife and Kids,’ says her ex-boyfriend Chris Sails got violent with her and now he’s in jail.

via TMZ:

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ … Parker told prosecutors her ex, YouTube star Chris Sails, got pissed after he saw a DM from another man on her phone, and started beating her so badly, she thought she was going to die.

The alleged incident went down last month in the couple’s apartment. Parker claims Chris repeatedly punched and slapped her in the face, and choked her while slamming her head on the ground.

Parker called cops and responding officers noticed she had a black eye and cuts on her neck. We’re told she initially claimed a woman who was visiting had attacked her. Two weeks later she recanted, and told cops Sails punched her.

Chris was arrested for assault Thursday in Houston, and remains in custody.

Pharrell Sends 45 A Cease & Desist To STOP Playing ‘Happy’ At His Rallies

Pharrell Williams is not playing games with Donald Trump.

The super-producer was outraged when 45 played “Happy” at a Midwest rally hours after 11 people were massacred at the Tree of Life synagogue by Robert Bowers.

Pharrell sent Trump a cease and desist through his attorney Howard King that read:

On the day of the mass murder of 11 human beings at the hands of a deranged ‘nationalist,’ you played his song ‘Happy’ to a crowd at a political event in Indiana.

There was nothing ‘happy’ about the tragedy inflicted upon our country on Saturday and no permission was granted for your use of this song for this purpose.

King added that his client has not and will not ever grant permission for Donald Trump to use his song and any use without his consent constitutes both copyright and trademark infringement.

Cardi B SPILLS ALL THE TEA On The Nicki Minaj Beef

Cardi B kept it real street as always by laying it all out today.

It all started after Nicki Minaj went on her radio show earlier today and said that Cardi B got beat up by Rah Ali (and some other things), Cardi took to social media and set the record straight.

A few things…

Cardi says that if Rah beat her up like Nicki said she did, there would be footage out — considering there were several clips from different angles and none of them show anything.

Cardi also asks why Nicki Minaj is offering $100,000 for leaked footage while she also claims her cameraman has the footage of this alleged beatdown.

As far as “Motorsport” is concerned, Cardi says Nicki changed her verse a few times and wasn’t feeling the last change that came in the day before they were set to do the video in which Nicki added that ‘quarterback’ line.

Cardi said that G-Eazy’s “No Limit” collaboration was presented to Nicki first, but she didn’t believe in the record so Cardi took it and Nicki was salty.

“You’re out here f*n up your legacy looking like a f*n hater!” 😅🙌🏾👏🏾

“I’ve always admired you and looked up to you cuz I used to listen to you in High School but the difference between me and these other bitches is that I don’t Suck Your Dick”

“I have nothing to worry about nobody. What another woman eat don’t make me shit!!!” 😩🙌🏽

Yall ready for ALL these facts that Cardi about to spill?

Like Mother , Like Daughter : Zoë Kravitz Channels Mom Lisa Bonet’s Nude Shoot

Zoë Kravitz confirmed her engagement in a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine, for which she channeled her mom’s iconic nude cover shoot.

via People:

Thirty years after Lisa Bonet stripped down to pose nude on Rolling Stone‘s May 19, 1988 cover while two months pregnant with Kravitz, the Big Little Lies actress, 29, did the same for the magazine’s annual Hot Issue. And inside the cover story, Kravitz revealed she’s been secretly engaged to actor Karl Glusman since February.

The actress nonchalantly told Rolling Stone writer Josh Eells the news when he noticed a diamond ring on her finger.

“Oh yeah, I’m engaged,” Kravitz said so casually, Eells thought she was joking. “No, I’m engaged!” she repeated. “I haven’t told anyone yet — I mean, I haven’t told the world. I wanted to keep it private.”

Glusman proposed to Kravitz in late February during the couple’s trip to Paris, and she said he totally “nailed it.”

“I was in sweatpants,” she said. “I think I was a little drunk. I could feel his heart beating so fast — I was like, ‘Baby, are you OK?’ I was actually worried about him! I love that it wasn’t this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants.”

Kravitz and Glusman were first linked in October 2016, and celebrated their one-year anniversary publicly at the Emmy Awards in September 2017.

The actress’ provocative shoot by photographer Zooey Grossman features Kravitz posing completely naked while covering her breasts with her hands and hair in a very similar pose to her mom’s 30 years ago. However, Bonet’s iconic shoot wasn’t as risqué. The 50-year-old star only posed partially nude on the cover wearing a white button-up, while her nude photos ran inside the issue.

“When I think of Rolling Stone, that’s always the image that pops into my head. It’s a really striking image of her. It’s beautiful,” Kravitz said.

She added, “I think she was a little bummed when they used the shirt picture as the cover. I think she just thought, ‘I’m doing it, let’s do it!’ It’s less about the picture, and more about doing the thing my mom intended to do. That feels cool.”

Erykah Badu Makes An Iconic Cameo In Neelam’s ‘I’ll Be The King’ Video

Neelam Hakeem just dropped the visuals for her empowerment track, “I’ll Be The King,” and she made sure to include a special guest at the end of the song.

In the newly released video, the hijabi emcee brings out a regal Erykah Badu in a special cameo at the end of the song. In the scene, Badu sits on in a literal throne with Hakeem nestled by her knees.

At one point, the Los Angeles-based rapper lays her head on the “Next Lifetime” singer’s lap. The image appears to be an acknowledgment that Neelam is sitting at the knees of other female hip-hop greats, like Badu, who have come before her.

Although Badu has shared video clips of Neelam’s talent to her fans before, the duo first shared a stage during the female cypher at the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards, which aired earlier this month.

With Badu at the turntables, Hakeem freestyled to the beat alongside the likes of Bri Steves, Sharaya J, and Chika.
