Chris Brown to Sue Rape Victim Who Allegedly Lied On Him for Defamation

Chris Brown is fighting back against allegations that got him recently locked up.

After being accused of rape, Chris plans to sue his accuser for defamation.

via TMZ:

Chris’ Parisian lawyer, Raphael Chiche, says, “Chris Brown is free. No lawsuits were filed against him. He vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed tomorrow with the public prosecutor of Paris.”

As we reported, Chris claims he was set up by the 24-year-old model, who claimed Chris took her to his hotel in Paris and violently raped her. Chris called BS, saying he was never alone with the women.  We’re told he insists he was playing music off his iPhone in the living room of the suite with 20 people around him the entire time.

Brown was released from police custody Tuesday, but prosecutors say the investigation is still ongoing. A source in the judicial system of Paris tells TMZ the fact Brown was released with no conditions and free to leave the country is a sign authorities have problems with the case.

If she is lying, we encourage Chris to pursue legal no caps!!

Erykah Badu Offers a Prayer for R. Kelly : ‘I Love You Unconditionally’

Erykah Badu isn’t ready to jump on the #MuteRKelly bandwagon.

In fact, The Queen is ready to offer the singer “unconditional love.”

via TMZ:

The R&B crooner was doing a show Saturday at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, where she stopped her performance at one point to launch into a tangent about R. Kelly … which did NOT go over well with the audience in attendance. Far from it, in fact.

Erykah said she wanted to send out a prayer to “R,” clearly referring to R. Kelly … and the remark definitely stunned the crowd for the worse. She said she hopes he sees the light of day if he’s done all the things he was accused of on “Surviving R. Kelly.”

As the boos mounted, Erykah continued her remarks by openly wondering if anyone who was allegedly assaulted by R. Kelly went on to be an offender themselves … do they too deserve to be crucified? She followed up by asking, “How do we do this?”

It’s a pretty tense scene as Erykah loses her fans more and more with each R. Kelly thought. Eyewitnesses tell us that a few people even got up and left the venue because of how turned off they were by her defending the embattled singer.

This is very much in line with Erykah’s views on Hitler. At least she’s consistent … for whatever that’s worth.

Why Now?! R. Kelly Has Been Dropped By Sony Music

R. Kelly has been dropped by Sony Music.

via Variety:

No external announcement of the move is planned in the immediate future, says a source, who added that Kelly’s presence on the RCA website (where he remains listed) will not indicate his departure from the company, as his back catalog will remain with RCA/Sony. Kelly’s last release with the label was a Christmas-themed album in 2016, although he has released several songs independently since that time, presumably with Sony’s consent, and Tweeted earlier this year that he has a new album on the way.

Contacted by Variety, reps for both RCA Records and its parent company, Sony Music, declined comment.

The move comes after years of public calls, and even a petition from members of the #MuteRKelly movement, for the company to part ways with Kelly. Those calls intensified in the wake of Lifetime documentary “Surviving R. Kelly,” in which multiple women accuse him of sexual misconduct. In recent weeks a plane commissioned by the women’s organization UltraViolet and carrying a sign reading “RCA/Sony: Drop Sexual Predator R. Kelly” flew over Sony Music’s Los Angeles offices and a protest was staged outside of Sony’s New York headquarters.

He’s BEEN wanting out for a while sooo

Rihanna Is Suing Her Father For $75 Million

Rihanna doesnt play at all when it comes to her name or her business and will defend both at any cost — even if that means suing the man that helped get her here.

via The Blast:

RiRi just filed the lawsuit, obtained by The Blast, against Ronald Fenty and a company called Fenty Entertainment. Rihanna claims her father, and another man named Moses Perkins, created an entertainment company and have been soliciting business acting as agents of the singer.

The star says she has nothing to do with Fenty Entertainment, and that “Although Mr. Fenty is Rihanna’s father, he does not have, and never has had, authority to act on Rihanna’s behalf.”

The “Umbrella” singer claims some of the erroneous bookings by her father includes a $15 million tour in Latin America and two concerts at Staples Center in Los Angeles and T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for $400,000. In both cases, she claims to have nothing to do with the bookings.

She also says Ronald claimed he ran the business offers by Rihanna’s actual label, Roc Nation, but the singer argues nobody from Roc Nation was ever made aware of anything Ronald was doing.

In 2018, Ronald tried to trademark the phrase “Fenty” for a line of boutique hotels, but it was shot down by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Rihanna claims she has sent many cease and desist letters to her father and his business partner, but they did not stop. She is now forced to file a lawsuit and wants an injunction against her father, as well as unspecified damages.

R. Kelly To Sue Lifetime, Doesn’t Care About Artist Backlash

R. Kelly is on a mission to sue Lifetime and isnt fazed by artists who has pulled their collaborations with him from streaming services

via TMZ:

Sources connected to the singer tell us he’s not flipping out about people like Celine Dion, Lady Gaga and Ciara yanking their R. Kelly collabs. We’re told his only reaction has been to dismiss those artists as “phonies” who are trying to salvage their own images on the heels of the “Surviving R. Kelly” allegations.

We’re told he is freaking out about what he considers “lies” put forward in ‘Surviving.’ As we’ve reported, Kelly’s lawyers fired off a cease and desist letter to Lifetime ahead of the six-part docuseries airing. Of course, Lifetime didn’t blink and Kelly’s now pressuring his attorneys to follow through with the legal threat.

We’re told he has daily meetings with lawyers where they not only discuss the content of ‘Surviving’ … but also attempt to dig up dirt on Lifetime execs. The way one source describes it, Kelly seems crazed about getting revenge, and will leave no stone unturned until he gets it.

His label, RCA/Sony, has pulled all financial backing for new projects — and prosecutors in 2 cities are actively seeking potential witnesses and victims to bring charges against him.
