GoFundMe Shuts Down Campaigns To Raise Money For R. Kelly

R. Kelly‘s fans were willing and ready to give their hard earned to him after launched several GoFundMe campaigns in an attempt to provide financial aid to the R&B singer.

Unfortunately, GoFundMe wasn’t having it!

Jenny Perillo, spokeswoman for the crowdfunding site confirmed they shut down several accounts launched on behalf of the R.Kelly.

These campaigns violate GoFundMe’s terms of service and they’ve been removed from the platform.

I can confirm that our terms of service prohibit raising money on GoFundMe for the legal defense of a violent crime.

GoFundMe may have pumped the brakes of some fans, but that didn’t stop Valencia Love from coming through with the $100,000 bond needed to free the singer from Cook County Jail on Monday.
