Cardi B Gets Her Very Own Tom Ford Lipstick Shade

Cardi B winning streak continues

There’s famous, then there’s lipstick-named-after-you famous, and Cardi B is official latter now.

Amidst a packed (and insane) New York Fashion Week, her latest buzzy moment comes by way of Tom Ford Beauty, which just revealed a lipstick shade inspired by the rapper herself.

The beauty brand unveiled the latest Lips & Boys collection backstage at its Spring/Summer 2019 show (where Cardi sat front row). As usual, the lipsticks are named after people—and Tom Ford Beauty announced a cobalt blue shade named “Cardi” on Instagram. It’s fittingly a shade made for risk-takers and bold beauty lovers.

Eco Styler Gel Has Ingredients That Cause Cancer?!

SHEIN -Your Online Fashion Jumpsuit

What In The Edges is going on?!? I thought I had heard it all when I heard that Eco Styler Gel could contain an ingredient that causes cancer! Ive read a few articles and watched a few videos.

I don’t know about you but the labels on most products are like reading chinese and I have no idea what the stuff listed really is unless i google it.  But thanks to the natural curly community online I was able to find out exactly what is in one of our favorite gel.

According to natural beauty vlogger, AlopeciaFreeWithJass, Eco Styler Gel does contain an agent that is known to cause cancer.  In a YouTube video she breaks down the ingredients in the popular gel and came across one troubling one, Tetrasodum EDTA.

Tetrasodum is known for causing allergic reactions and is also linked to causing cancer if used.  This ingredient is also said to contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.  Additionally, according to the “U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Cosmetics Ingredient Review (CIR), triethanolamine is best suited for products that should be washed off after application.”

Of course, smaller amounts of Tetrasodum are safe but are you willing to take the risk?
