Pusha T and wife Virginia Williams are expecting their first child.

Push and Ginny took to Instagram on Monday with matching posts revealing their family is growing. The posts feature a Christmas-themed illustration of the couple and their dogs. Written on the picture are the words “Happy Holidays Baby T Coming Spring 2020.”

Although they didn’t say the baby’s gender, Ginny’s caption did disclose their child’s potential zodiac sign. 

“Finally landed my dream job. World, make way for BABY THORNTON! Arriving Gemini season 2020!! WE ARE OVER THE MOON!!!!!!!!!!!!” she captioned the post that also features an ultrasound of their child

Seeing as Push exposed a whole family with his bars, the rapper decided to continue this trend by using lyrics to reveal his child. Unlike Ginny’s post, Push turned the illustration into a video that features a snippet of an unreleased song.

Solange’s 9-Minute Medley Of ‘When I Get Home’ On ‘The Tonight Show’

Sis Solo took to ‘The Tonight Show’ stage to give viewers a medley from her classic album, ‘When I Get Home.’

Solange strung together “Taking on the Light,” “Things I Imagined,” “Down with the Clique,” “Binz,” and “Almeda” to create a nine-minute set for Fallon. Although she was limited to a late-night stage, Solange still put together a visual performance that rivals her concerts. She was accompanied by live musicians as well as dancers who synchronized their movements with Solange and her back up singers. The set ended with only Solange and a figure draped in silver performing on a black stage. 

Like almost everything Solange does, this was an atypical take on Fallon’s musical guest segment. Her performance was meant to honor When I Get Home’s interdisciplinary art film. The original version was a 33-minute project that Solange described as a “Texas film.” It dropped in March along with her album. Next week, the singer will be releasing a director’s cut of the film for her fans. 

When I Get Home is Solange’s fourth studio album. It follows her highly acclaimed 2016 album, A Seat at the Table. While A Seat at the Table uses Solange’s connection to New Orleans as a backdrop to address several themes, When I Get Home is dedicated to her hometown of Houston, Texas. The film uses historically black areas of Houston as it’s setting including the hair salon that used to be owned by her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson.

John Singleton Wanted To Create Lil Kim Biopic Before He Passed

John Singleton was in talks of creating a Lil Kim biopic before he transitioned!

During her visit to The Real Thursday (Nov. 7) Lil Kim told the world that he approached her about it.

The rapper said,

“I’ve gotten so many offers. I’m talking, major offers… even BET, Lifetime, Lionsgate. But the thing is, I had to be ready, and I think now I’m ready to tell the story.”

She said Singleton was the one who wanted to tell it.

“Him and I went [to a party]. He was like, ‘I want you to be my celebrity date.’ But I knew what that meant. He wants to talk, right? So he said to me, ‘Kim, why aren’t we doing this movie? You’re a walking best-seller.’ And I was like, ‘Well, I’m waiting for you.’”

She added that she wouldn’t have it any other way, but unfortunately, he passed before they were able to make it happen.

“I said to him, I always said if I did a movie about my life, I’m not doing it with anybody but you. And then he passed away.”

 Singleton passed away in April after suffering a massive stroke. The iconic film and TV series director was the brains behind classics like Boyz n the Hood, Poetic Justice and Baby Boy just to name a few

Summer Walker Is Done , Y’all Can Have The Music & I’ma Head Out’

In a lengthy post shared on social media, Summer Walker vented that she’s not just over it, she’s done with the music industry.

It’s just been a couple of weeks since her first album Over It made its debut. But now Summer is quitting music.

She wrote,

“na fr though I’ve decided y’all don’t deserve me lol I knew from day one I was to real for this s***. y’all can have the music & ima just head out. f*** the interviews, photo shoots, videos, & really the shows too.”

Fortunately for her fans, she said she’ll finish her tour, but warned that we won’t hear much from her after that.

“I’ll finish this tour out tho. I’m just a regular person, nothing more. lol people got this fame s*** f***ed up. I been me from day one, I’m not bout to start acting different, talking different, treating people different, or looking different. people really expect too much from you.”

She added,

“Everyday / everything isn’t a miss America bad b**** contest, & I don’t feel the need to put others down to stay relevant. people really just DISCONNECTED…. hiding behind these apps, these filters, the clothes, the makeup, the hair lol a lot of y’all need to step back & get into yourselves.. from a different perspective. take the same amount of time that you normally do to prepare/improve your physical but apply it to your spirit & become COMFORTABLE with the real you, whoever that may be as long as your not hurting anyone”

She went on to say that fans need to be more worried about self-acceptance than securing the bag.

“That same amount of time you take to chase the “bag” try putting that same amount of energy into patience, acceptance, understanding, self awareness, self love but I know no one gives a shit about what I’m saying so yeah. peace love & light”
