Nipsey Hussle’s Family Gets Guardianship Of His Daughter Emani, Lauren London Granted Guardianship Over Son Kross’ Estate

Nipsey Hussle’s family has been awarded guardianship of his 10-year-old daughter, Emani.

The decision was made after his family collected sufficient evidence for their petition calling Emani’s birth mother, Tanisha Foster, unfit. Nipsey’s siblings Samantha Smith and Sam Asghedom — and his mother, Angelique Smith — have been appointed as Emani’s guardians.

Lauren London received the judge’s approval to manage her and Nipsey’s son’s finances as the 3-year-old inherits half of his dad’s estate.

London was in court Tuesday to get a guardianship over 3-year-old son, Kross’s estate. It’s a little misleading because an estate is created when someone dies, but this case is different.  Lauren is the go-to person who will handle the financials that could set Kross up for life

It’s worth noting, there was never a dispute between Lauren and Nipsey‘s family when it came to Kross.

Things haven’t been so smooth with Nipsey’s other baby mama, Tanisha Foster, who battled with Nipsey’s brother and sister over the care of Nip’s 10-year-old daughter, Emani. The girl is expected to inherit the other half of Nipsey’s estate. It appears there’s at least 2 million on the line because the docs say Kross is expected to pocket a million bucks.

This is some super awesome news. May family the best in their continued healing.

Nipsey Hussle’s Baby Mama Says She’s NOT An Bad Parent

Nipsey Hussle’s entire family has joined forces to get full custody of his 10-year-old daughter Emani, but her mother says that she’s perfectly capable of caring for her daughter.

Tanisha Foster says in legal docs, obtained by TMZ, she and Nipsey shared responsibility for parenting 10-year-old Emani.

She seems to be rebutting the family’s contention she’s not capable of caring for the child, saying they are ignoring the fact Nipsey provided for her … setting her up in an apartment and providing for her livelihood. She’s insinuating she’s been cut off and that’s not what Nipsey would want.

She also says, she’s not the only person involved in the case with a “problem past,” but she says she’s choosing not to “sling mud.”

She says she can’t pay rent, she’s been cut off financially and is in desperate shape. Foster notes the lifestyle she and Emani were used to before Nipsey’s death won’t be the same … but she is willing to make it work to the best of her ability. She’s asking the judge to at least give her visitation rights

Foster says, “If everyone was truly interested in doing what is best for Emani, they would treat me as her mother and not in the manner that they have.

Nipsey’s family was awarded temporary custody of Emani, claiming Tanisha is an unfit mother.

I don’t feel like the family would be going through all this if they believed Emani was safe with her mother — do you?

Nipsey Hussle’s Family Says STOP All Fundraising To Help Support His Children

Nipsey Hussle’s family is politely rejecting any fundraising to support his kids — because Nipsey made sure they’d be set for the rest of their lives.

via TMZ:

Sources close to Nip’s family tell TMZ … Nipsey made sure his 2 children, Emani and Kross Asghedom, would never have to rely on other people for money.

While there have been multiple crowdfunding pages popping up for them — including the one retired NFL star Reggie Bush started — we’re told the family wants everyone to know the kids are more than alright.

Nipsey was remembered as a savvy businessman during his celebration of life … and for good reason. We’re told he owned all of his master recordings, his Marathon Clothing store, and he also set up multiple trust funds to make sure his kids and family would never need a handout.

As we reported … Bush set up a GoFundMe in hopes of raising $100,000 for Nipsey’s kids, personally chipping in $10k to get things started. But, that fundraiser has already been scrubbed from the internet.

We’re told the family is grateful for the outpouring of support, but as one source put it — Nip just wouldn’t want it that way, and since he left his family financially secure … it’s just not necessary.

Ibwas think they should take all the donations and use them to continue Nipsey’s work in the community. To each his/her own.
