One of my all time favorite trends to come out of the spring collections this year is the wide-leg pants. It’s tailored, classic, but boasts a silhouette that turns heads all the same. Whether high-waisted or low-slung, this wide leg pants trend is perfect for the office (with a button-down) or date night (with a silk camisole).
Don’t: pair wide-leg pants with an oversize top. It’s important to balance the proportions of this oversize pants when reaching for a shorter style.
Do: Reach for a high-waisted style.
Don’t: leave your top loose when opting for a high-waisted style. Show off your waistline and minimize excess bulk.
If you’re like me, rocking a Karl Kani jacket or jeans from the iconic streetwear label back in the day meant you were the bomb and your fashion was tight.
With the resurgence of ‘90s trends in fashion, Karl Kani, which was launched in 1989 by Carl Williams (aka one of the founding fathers of streetwear), is teaming up with the UK brand PrettyLittleThing on a capsule collection. It’s also the first-ever brand collaboration for PrettyLittleThing.
Karl Kani and PrettyLittleThing have booked the ever-stylish singer Teyana Taylor to model looks from the 45-piece collection.
The collection incorporates Karl Kani’s logo and the brand’s signature stripes, and features various pieces including T-shirt dresses, crop tops, bodysuits, denim jackets and shorts and more streetwear-inspired pieces.
Considering the singer’s personal style, Taylor was definitely made for this for this collection. Other celebrities who have already been spotted wearing the collection include Missy Elliott and Karrueche Tran.
The collection ranges in price from $15 to $60, and is available at PrettyLittleThing.com NOW.
When choosing your Sunday church outfit the most important thing is to consider comfort. The point of church clothing is to feel free (not too free) and comfortable. You also have to consider the fact that youll be in the house of the Lord. So that Saturday night bodycon that you have to keep pulling down paired with a kimono is a no go. I am not saying you have to wear flip flops, shorts and ripped tees (even though they say come as you are), but you have to feel confident and think only about God, so nothing disturbs your feelings and thoughts.
