Fashion & Style 411 : Seun Gbadehan

Her name is Seun Gbadehan and a Nigerian Queen living in Australia. After completing her Masters degree in Business; Seun has been working in the corporate business world during the day and at night a fashion and lifestyle blogger (www.justnueslola.com) where she occasionally share her personal style and some lifestyle tips. Seun does love fashion because it liberates her and makes her express myself more

Question 1: So when’s the first time you fell in love with FASHION?

I will say that I started to fall in love with fashion during my high school days. This is because I went to a boarding school and this meant that we had to be in uniforms all through school sessions. I always liked school holidays because it gave me the liberty to actually wear whatever I liked and not some boring uniform.

Question 2 : Do you have a signature STYLE?

I will not say I have a signature style because the way I feel dictates my style each day. However, I like to pick outfits that accentuate my curves, bright and comfortable.
My style is more about pairing inexpensive pieces with expensive accessories to make the whole outfit standout and unique

Question 3: Who is your favorite DESIGNER?

To be honest I have never really been a person who fancy big brand names when it comes to clothing. I am happy to wear simple and inexpensive clothing as long as the material is of good quality and fits me perfectly. However, when it comes to accessories, bags and shoes; then designers like Gucci and Louis Vuitton are my current favorite.

Question 4 : Who is your current STYLE crush?

My current style crush is Rihanna because anything she wears just looks super dope.

Question 5: How do you pick the ensembles you display?

When putting together my outfit, I basically plan ahead and already have a good idea of what the whole outfit will look like before I go out.
Trends also plays an impact on put together my outfit because I want people to be able to relate to what I am displaying.

Question 6 : What are some of your favorite boutiques to get your fashionable pieces?

These days I mostly shop online and I basically shop from stores like missguided, fashionova, Boohoo, H&M and the likes

Clothing Brand Is No Longer Airbrushing Models’ Stretch Marks

Various fashion brands such as Aerie and ASOS have taken a stance against airbrushing models in recent years, and another brand is also making a move toward promoting body positivity. UK brand Missguided just revealed that they are also no longer Photoshopping their models.

From visible stretch marks to moles and more, Missguided is rejecting the manufactured images of models we’ve become so accustomed to seeing. On Missguided’s site, you can now find various models, particularly in bodysuits, lingerie and swimsuits, showing off their natural bodies, flaws and all.

In a statement, the company’s head of brand Samantha Helligso said: “As a brand, we feel we have a strong sense of social responsibility to support young women and inspire confidence. So we’re on a mission to do just that by showing our audience it’s okay to be yourself, embrace your ‘flaws’, celebrate individuality, and not strive for what the world perceives as perfection. Because basically, it doesn’t exist.”

Helligso continued, “By showing imagery that’s real and authentic, we want to show it’s more than okay to be yourself. All you have is what you’ve got, so own it every day.” While a few social media users claimed that Missguided Photoshopped the stretch marks onto the models, the brand has denied all accusations as “entirely untrue.”

Im aren’t the only one who applaud Missguided for this major step in making all women feel comfortable in their own skin. On Twitter, many shared their praise for Missguided’s bold step in the right direction.

During the Fall and Winter months sleek mesh turtlenecks , bodysuits and floral 2 piece sets are an absolute go-to! It’s an easy base to work with, looks effortlessly chic and might I add is pretty flattering. Leather/Pleather bottoms adds the power of the versatility to a look. I love how Kristin and Ms. Bling paired their tops with these hip-hugging bottoms. Anayal8ter and Tina’s looks are conversations makers ,they refused to play it safe….and definitely paid off as. Just look at that sweater dress on Anayal8er thats a statement piece. Tina’s 2 piece set is bold and different , the red bag and heels ties everything together perfectly.

All these Queens are ready to paint the town with style , poise and confidence!

Eccentric FIND : Ruffle Coat

Model Stafani Milano

A lot of us are intriguly in love with this nude ruffle coat style it screams Im HERE and I OWN the scene.

I love the length of the coat worn with the length of the boots or heels. Not too long that it drags the ground either well depending on your height. The soft fabric seemingly are important components to my eye. You want the coat thats not bulky, and moves in motion. A straight sheath does not create quite the same elegant, graceful and sensual effect. This ruffle coat can easily be dressed up or down.

Its the conversation maker for sure! I located 2 boutiques Swankaposh and Snazzy Clozet thats selling it….Now. Only difference is 20 bucks…so no big difference.

Cool breezes have started to appear, and while outside my house I can find blooming roses still, I can also see leaves starting to yellow. I love this upcoming season. Each season is something to savor and enjoy when it first appears, but fall has a special place in my heart for so many reasons.

WOKE up to a brisk 61 degrees at 6 a.m. that quickly rose to 84 by 9 a.m. here in Vegas. With it being 84 degrees here on the westcoast, we can still pull out our tanks , skirts and shorts. See how these Sistas pulled it off
