Most people who wear wear locs like the fresh look of a retwist, but if done too often it can start to create breakage and thinning at the root. Look around for new, attractive, hairstyles that you can tryout to stay in love with your hair in between retwists—it’s the perfect time to experiment with your look.
I havent been to the salon since May , but I wash my locs every 6/8 weeks at home. Ive just been a little lazy 😯😯😯
No matter what you heard, cleansing is a part of any healthy hair care routine.
Peace. As I adapt to the many stages of my locs , I knew I was bound to make a few changes in my maintenance routine. I’ve been on my loc journey for three years and I’ve made a LOT of changes here and there. Im caring for it more now than ever before and I LOVE the untwisted look.
Okay, I did my first ever real braid and it was on camera. The whole process and the results of that style are below. To maintain this look I pull eveything into a ponytail while the braid is still in and cover my locs with a scarf.
