Our antee Jilly from Philly is bringing her acting chops to The CW’s upcoming superhero drama, Black Lightning! The Grammy winner is set to play DC Comics villain Lady Eve, a liaison between Robias Whale (Marvin “Krondon” Jones III) and a top-secret group of corrupt leaders. When not scheming with the other villains, Scott’s alter ego is that of a funeral parlor owner who quickly bumps heads with Black Lightning (Cress Williams).

“Jill is an amazing artist who can embody any character and give them an authentic voice that is both nuanced and richly complex,”
said showrunner and executive producer Salim Akil in a statement. “I am excited to see her in the role of Lady Eve.”
