Erykah Badu has been super generous in the music department lately. Its been almost 2 months since she dropped her ‘But You Caint Use My Phone‘mixtape, Ms. Badu is giving us yet another dope a remix this time to Kanye West’s recently-released “Real Friends.”
Her version is called “Trill Friends” and it’s everything you’d expect from an Erykah Badu remix.
The Soul Train Awards aired this evening and I must say — Erykah Badu is the best awards show host, ever!
With that being said, it wasn’t even 10 minutes into her hosting before she had us laughing out loud.
One moment in particular made us laugh SO hard — and it definitely was a fact so she wasnt lying lol . Erykah told the audience that she banned rappers from the ceremony, but then she got a “call” from Iggy Azalea.
“No, you can come! What you’re doing is definitely NOT rap,” Erykah told “Iggy” over the phone.
