It’s Over! Kenya Moore And Husband Marc Daly Split

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly have called it quits.

The split comes just two years after ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star tied the knot.

via People:

Moore, 48, and Daly, 49, have been married since June 2017, when they tied the knot in a romantic sunset ceremony on a St. Lucia beach.

Their separation comes less than a year after Moore gave birth to their first child, daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly, on Nov. 4, 2018.

In exclusive statements to PEOPLE, both Moore and Daily asked for privacy.

“It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly,” Moore said. “Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward. “

Said Daly: “I have come to the difficult decision to separate from Kenya at this time. Our daughter has two parents that love her very much and in her best interests, this situation should remain as private as possible. I cherish our family’s good times together and will continue to co-parent in a loving way. Rumors, innuendo or false accusations only serve to hurt our family and will be addressed through counsel as the law permits. Please respect our privacy during this challenging period.”

Porsha Williams‘ baby shower was a magical extravaganza.

The very went down Feb 24. in Atlanta.

via People:

Williams’ 80 guests — including sister Lauren and her RHOA costars Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey — wore white for the elegant event, entering the transformed space that featured ice sculptures, white flowers from Akeem Clayton, delicate linen napkins and more among a white-and-rose-gold color palette. The initials “PJ,” a nod to her daughter on the way, adorned the backs of the chairs while the floor read, “Celebrating PJ.”

“The day was magical,” the mom-to-be tells PEOPLE exclusively for this week’s issue, sharing a collection of photos from the stunning shower thrown by her “loving fiancé,” Dennis McKinley and planned alongside ellyB Events. “It was amazing to walk into a room and feel that much love. I have such a tremendous support system around me and women who lift me up and are just so incredibly happy for me.”

“I’ve waited a really really long time for this moment,” adds Williams, 37 (the star announced her pregnancy in September, six years after suffering a miscarriage). “I am cherishing each minute and enjoy every day being pregnant. It’s a blessing for us.”

The delectable spread provided by Chef Donald Wilsonincluded hors d’oeuvres like seasonal fruit, baked brie, teriyaki chicken tenderloin and shrimp ceviche served on edible spoons.

For the buffet station, Williams and McKinley’s family and friends could choose among organic kale salad, lemon rosemary chicken breast with caper sauce, pan-seared salmon with red-onion marmalade, roasted potatoes, orecchiette pasta with chardonnay cream sauce and pesto, green beans and grilled ciabbata.

House-made banana pudding and Georgia peach cobbler made up the sweet portion of the buffet, while guests sipped on sparkling mango beverages and lemon, strawberry and mint water between bites.

“There also wasn’t a space on the dance floor,” Williams (who wore a custom, handmade dress by Derron Cherry and was styled by Jeremy Hanes) tells PEOPLE of the “nonstop” portion of the shower. “The room was filled with laughter and zero stress — only well wishes for the McKinleys.”

And just in case banana pudding and peach cobbler weren’t enough to satisfy party-goers’ sweet tooth, Williams offered a hot-chocolate station and lavish display of desserts provided by Sweet Details, which was chock full of items like macaron towers, cheesecake shooters, chocolate-truffle cake pops, cupcakes and cookie stacks.

The confectionery centerpiece? A gorgeous (and tasty) multi-layer creation by LaMeeka Custom Cake Designs, featuring vanilla bean, butter-almond and red-velvet pastry goodness.

GB Design House provided the napkins for the event, hot-chocolate supplies, popcorn boxes, chocolate truffles for guests to take home, stir sticks and advice coasters, which guests filled out to give their best parenting tips to the mom- and dad-to-be.

Lauren (outfitted in a dress from Williams’ new line, Porsha Williams) and Dish Nation co-host Gary Hayes hosted a hair game. As Williams, owner of Go Naked Hair, explains to PEOPLE, “They had a contest among women [of] who could style the hair on plastic heads the best. The ladies were extremely competitive and it was so much fun!”

Our First Look At Kenya Moore’s Beautiful Daughter Brooklyn Daly

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly’s baby bundle of joy, Brooklyn Doris Daly, made her debut in the latest issue of People magazine.

via People:

“I finally have everything I’ve dreamed of,” she gushes to PEOPLE, posing with her adorable baby girl for the first time in an exclusive spread for this week’s issue.

“She’s so perfect in so many ways,” adds Moore, who says Brooklyn “makes 101 faces” that always make her laugh. “This little angel … so beautiful. I feel so blessed. It’s all been so worth it.”

If Moore sounds extra gushy, that’s because she’s overcome a lot to get to this moment.

The Detroit native, who was raised by her grandmother and lives in Atlanta, had yearned for a family of her own but always seemed to come up short in the love department, with a series of failed relationships behind her. “It’s weird,” she says. “You can be surrounded by people but if you don’t have what you’ve longed for your whole life — and in my case, that’s a family — you just feel lonely.”

Meeting New York restaurateur Marc Daly, 48, in 2016 changed all that. The couple wed in “a romantic” and intimate St. Lucia ceremony in June 2017, and immediately got to work at starting a family. (“We both want to start a family and soon — like, right away,” she told PEOPLE at the time, “We both want a child.”)

They would eventually turn to in vitro fertilization for help, Moore spilling the good news of her baby-to-be back in March while taping the RHOA season 10 reunion.

But pregnancy brought it’s own challenges. At her first ultrasound, doctors couldn’t see the baby’s skeleton and worried Moore had a false pregnancy. Another visit had physicians concerned Moore was having an ectopic tubal pregnancy and would need to be terminated.

“There were so many scares along the way,” Moore says, explaining she was seeing an OBGYN and perinatologist (a specialist for high-risk pregnancy) weekly. “We held our breath every time we went to the doctor.”

Then in late October, Moore tested positive for preeclampsia — a condition marked by extreme fluid retention and high blood pressure that can lead to serious, even fatal complications. Moore first noticed swelling in her feet, but jokes, “Okay pregnant women, their feet swell!”

Days later, she visited her OBGYN and got on the scale. “In one week, I had gained 17 lbs.” she recalls. “I was like, ‘Wait a minute, is this scale right?’ ‘Cause I remembered specifically what my weight was, and at that point, I was at 203 lbs. already. And then when they weighed me, I was 220 lbs. And I was thinking, ‘Something is not right here. Is the scale broken?’ ”Further tests found protein in Moore’s urine and heightened blood pressure, more signs of preeclampsia. Doctors continued to monitor her and give her more tests over the following days, until they finally decided to pull the trigger.

“I called them to give them my blood pressure readings and my reading was through the roof and climbing,” Moore explains. “They told me, ‘Your condition is worsening so get your bags and go straight to the hospital, you’re delivering today.’ “

Frightened, and with Daly still on a plane to Atlanta, Moore recalls bursting into tears. “It was all happening so fast,” she says. “I started crying because I got so scared. I couldn’t get a hold of Marc, I didn’t know what was going to happen. I just remember feeling overwhelmed with emotion. It was really tough.”

Less than 12 hours later, Moore was on the operating room table, pumped up with anti-seizure medication for herself and steroids to make sure her premature baby’s lungs were developing properly (“They actually made me wait until some of the other cases got out or else it would have been sooner than that,” she says).

Delivery was even harder. Moore’s emergency cesarean section lasted a nightmarish three hours (Marc, who arrive in Atlanta with plenty of time, was in the delivery room by her side). Due to fibroids in the way, she ended up being cut twice — horizontally and vertically.

“They couldn’t get the baby out,” she says. “There were all these complications and they knew if they cut into a fibroid, I could potentially bleed out and die. So they ended up cutting me vertically too, to just get the baby out and make sure I survived the surgery. They were so scared they were going to lose me.”

At one point, Moore’s epidural ran out and doctors gave her anesthesia to put her out. She jokes, “When it was all over, my doctor said, ‘This was one for the books.’ ”

Brooklyn is adorable!
